We are also parent company to NC Custom, the promotional arm of our business and home to the following industry-leading brands: Chocolate Inn/Taylor & Grant (edibles), Lanco (promotional hard goods), SPD Shoreline (apparel and soft goods), ACE (outdoor apparel and drinkware), and Fresh Beginnings (baked goods).We are currently hiring a well-rounded Staff Accountant for our Hicksville accounting team.Responsibilities:Assists in all phases of closing and reporting including preparation of journal entries.Preparation of financial statementsAnalysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.Analyze variances in income statements and balance sheet accounts.Assist in special ad-hoc projects as required.Qualifications:BS/BA degree in accounting7+ years of accounting experience - some Public Accounting experience preferredExperience in multi-entity organizationsWorking knowledge of ERP systems, advanced skills in ExcelAttention to details, good organizational skills, and ability to perform efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentSelf-starter and detail orientedExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing Long Island organization!We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
