Due to outstanding growth, SBS Group of Companies is seeking a seasoned Customs Entry Writer ready to hit-the-ground running. We are looking for someone that understands Customs and Border Protection terminology and documents involved with importing into the United States and enjoys the challenge of bringing together all the detailed pieces, while providing excellent communication to our customers.We want to add to our team of established professionals; we offer you the opportunity to grow your career as SBS continues to grow. This salary is offered at $65,000 to $75,000 per year based on experience. The schedule is 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday EST. This is an in-office role in our New York location! The Entry Writer will be responsible for creating files and entries, tracking cargo, communicating with vendors, government agencies, and customers, timely Customs ISF and entry filing, and other duties as required.The position requires:

• 2 years experience in Imports/Customs work
• 2 year's experience as a Customs Entry Writer preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Customs regulations
• Natural ability to multi-task and problem solve
• Progressive computer and software skills
• Proven customer service skills
• Strong written and oral communication, English proficient
