(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A school is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter
to support effective communication for students and staff. This
role involves providing accurate and professional interpretation
services within the educational environment, ensuring all
individuals have equal access to learning and participation.
Location: New Britain, CT Setting: School environment with some
travel required to different school sites. Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate clear and accurate interpretation between sign language
and spoken language during classroom instruction, meetings, and
school events. Collaborate with teachers, students, and staff to
promote inclusive communication. Maintain confidentiality and
professionalism in all interactions. Adapt to various communication
styles and classroom settings as needed. Travel to multiple school
locations within the district to provide interpretation services.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Proficiency in American Sign
Language (ASL) with strong interpreting skills. Experience working
in educational settings is preferred. Ability to interpret in
real-time across a variety of academic subjects and school
functions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Reliable
