Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within
an Early Childhood educational setting, serving children ages 2-5
in early intervention programs. This contract position, located in
Milford, DE, focuses on delivering tailored speech and language
services to promote communication development and classroom success
for young learners. Key Responsibilities: Assess and diagnose
speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in early
childhood students. Develop and implement Individualized Education
Programs (IEPs) collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Provide direct therapy through individual, small group, and
classroom-integrated models. Consult with educators, parents, and
support staff to embed speech and language objectives into the
curriculum. Monitor and document student progress while maintaining
compliance with all applicable guidelines. Participate in IEP
meetings, eligibility assessments, and transition planning. Support
inclusive classroom models within early intervention and preschool
special education programs. Engage in continuous professional
development to remain current with best practices and legal
standards in speech-language pathology and early childhood
education. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language
Pathology from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure
and/or certification such as ASHA CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship
Year eligibility, and state education certification if applicable.
Experience working with preschool-aged children in public school or
early intervention environments preferred. Strong expertise in
child development, early literacy, play-based learning, and
augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Excellent
communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Preferred
Experience: Experience serving diverse student populations.
Familiarity with IDEA, Section 504, and special education
eligibility procedures. This position offers an excellent
