Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
full-time school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position offers
an engaging opportunity to support students across two elementary
schools in the Meriden, CT area. The role requires providing direct
speech therapy services within inclusive classroom settings,
addressing a diverse range of communication needs. The contract
extends through June 9, 2026, with an immediate start and standard
school hours from 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM, totaling 35 hours per week
onsite. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized
speech-language therapy to elementary students in inclusive
settings. Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to
integrate therapy goals. Monitor progress and document student
outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Participate in team meetings and professional development
opportunities as needed. Qualifications: Licensed and certified
Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required; open to Clinical
Fellows). Minimum of school-based SLP experience with a variety of
disability categories. Active Connecticut professional license.
Clearance through district fingerprinting and background checks.
Strong communication skills and ability to adapt services to a
range of student needs. Ability to work onsite at two school
