world.Job Description:This position is located in the areas of
Fishkill and Kingston, NY.The Residential Service Technician Level
2 is responsible for the management, and completion of all
service-related work with minimal guidance. The Residential Service
Technician Level 2 must have the ability to work both independently
and as a member of the service team. Responsibilities include
electrical troubleshooting, module cleaning, adherence to safety
procedures, process improvement and innovation, electronic
monitoring set-up. A strong foundation in electrical installation,
solar electrical systems, and customer service is required. This
position will work primarily independently and at a time with a
Residential Service Technician level 3 when needed. This position
requires travel and overnight stay, based on the location of
projects within the region.Emergencies- There will be occasions
that demand very quick reactions such as 24-hour responses to
system failures. It is expected that, on occasion, the O&M
Technician will be called into work, on a weekend or previously
scheduled time off, at night or on a holiday, to perform
troubleshooting and repairs.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot,
maintain, service, and repair residential solar systems and
associated equipment to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.Interact
with customers and coworkers at a professional level, able to work
both independently and as part of a multi-tasking team.Perform
remote on-site customer services, including installing,
commissioning, troubleshooting and repairing of residential solar
systems and related equipment.Performs a full system commissioning
with no guidanceOperate a multimeter and Sun Eye to diagnose solar
issuesPerform Meters Swaps/ReplacementsPerform a Suneye test on
solar system and a full underperformance investigation.Perform
system deactivationsPerform system reactivationsAble to complete
standard reporting which includes uploading pictures and compiling
a written report up to company standardKeep warehouse/storage units
clean and categorizedGather needed material for scheduled work with
little guidanceCheck-in and return material - Can perform full RMA
processIdentify parts needed to complete standard scopes of
workOrganize inventory and material countsLike for like inverter
replacement without monitoringRemove a solar system with limited
guidanceProperly unloading/loading of the vehicle per equipment
usedProperly install flashings/mounts on roofAbility to review
schedule and perform standard scopes of work as needed with little
guidanceCompletes ADP timecard daily and job expenses weeklyEnsure
the company vehicle is stocked with needed materials for service
workTransport materials to job site needed to complete scopes of
service work Educational, professional and/or other
requirements:Ability to drive a vehicle during the normal course of
business. Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to
pass a driving background check. Must be 18 years of age and
possess a valid driver's license.Demonstrated expertise in
Residential Solar Commissioning or InstallationKnowledge of the NEC
and applicable codes and standards is required1 + years of
Residential Solar O&M experience required3 + years of
Residential Solar Installation experience required3+ years of
previous field construction experience requiredPrevious experience

Monitoring, Locus, Itron, Elster, Enphase, and other various remote
monitoring solutions).Experience maintaining and servicing solar
