Job Details:
Our company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent
Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful
candidate will be a key player in the design and manufacturing
processes of our engineering products. This role is integral to our
mission of delivering top-quality, innovative solutions for the
aerospace industry. The successful candidate will have the
opportunity to work on exciting projects involving the design and
manufacturing of valves, pumps, and other essential components.
This is a unique opportunity for a passionate engineer to make a
significant impact on our company's product line and help shape the
future of the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing
knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication
processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly
methods, and quality control standards.
2. Design and implement manufacturing processes and systems for the
control and replenishment of materials.
3. Collaborate with design engineering and other functions to
ensure effective production methods and enhance product
performance.
4. Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements,
workflow, and design layouts of equipment and workspace for maximum
efficiency.
5. Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing
requirements and potential.
6. Work with SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create and modify drawings
as needed.
7. Ensure all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and
procedures are implemented and maintained at all times.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related
field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering
role.
3. Proven experience in the aerospace industry is highly
desirable.
4. Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD software.
5. Experience with valves and pumps manufacturing.
6. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, product design,
fabrication processes, and quality control standards.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
and creatively.
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet
deadlines.
10. Must be detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality
work.
11. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma
certification is a plus.
