ensuring that your designs are at the forefront of technological
advancement. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical
components and systems for autonomous drone platforms, ensuring
functionality and manufacturability. Conduct analysis and
simulations to validate designs, including stress, thermal, and
fluid dynamics analysis. Collaborate with electrical engineers,
software engineers, and product managers to integrate mechanical
systems with other subsystems. Create detailed engineering
drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and
assembly. Participate in prototyping, testing, and validation of
mechanical designs, making iterative improvements based on test
results. Identify and resolve design issues through root cause
analysis and corrective action. Stay current with industry trends,
materials, and technologies to drive innovation in mechanical
design. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 3 years of
experience in mechanical design and analysis, preferably in the
aerospace or defense industries. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g.,
SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes relevant
to aerospace applications. Excellent problem-solving skills and
attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with
the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
Experience with UAV systems or aerospace products is a plus.
Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards is highly desirable.

Permanent position based out of Brooklyn, NY. Pay and Benefits The
pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
