Strategic Account Manager Sales

Leading Long Island manage service provider is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic Sales Professional to join our Sales Team. Candidates with a technology background are a plus. We are an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) headquartered in Hicksville NY. We are trusted advisors to our clients providing customized solutions to meet business driven objectives. We are a service organization committed and dedicated to providing the highest level of service growth of our client's business.

We represent over 100 leading manufacturer's products and solutions and provide all the tools and training you will need to be successful. We offer our products and services to companies nationwide with a focus on NY tri-state and NY Metro areas. Our solutions are built around our strategic partnerships which include but not limited to HP, Dell, Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, SonicWall, and Citrix.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, quantify and close business
  • Be outgoing and comfortable in a business to business setting
  • Must be a hunter with strong skills to target new accounts, from small businesses to Fortune 500 Companies and present IT products, services and information on new technologies
  • Be a self-starter who is action oriented, energetic, tenacious and resilient
  • Ability to manage accounts and work with internal service delivery teams
  • Have excellent interpersonal, presentation, and public speaking skills, the ability to present ideas in a formal and informal setting
  • Have IT knowledge and experience selling MSP is a plus
  • Should be proficient in providing pre-sales and functional support to prospective customers

    Job Requirements
    • Technology experience/exposure, or experience in a similarly sophisticated industry
    • Have sold for a minimum of 5 years and will have experience selling a service to the C-Suite
    • Dynamic executive-level relationship building
    • Assertive work ethic, competitive drive and entrepreneurial spirit
    • High persistence and track-record of achieving goals
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in team pursuits
    • Clear, controlled and professional communication skills required
    • High attention to detail and quality
    • Ability to multitask and manage time and word load in a fast pace environment
