Our company based in Hicksville, New York, was formed in 1991. The company provides civil and structural engineering, land surveying, construction inspection/management, site safety, and special inspection services. The firm's market sectors include transportation (highway, bridge, and rail infrastructure); building and facility projects inclusive of schools and colleges, medical care, housing, wastewater treatment, commercial and site development; and municipal engineering. We have been successful in building an excellent reputation of professional service and experience with all of our clients. We place great emphasis on client communication, quality, meeting project deadlines, and innovative problem-solving.

Requirements:

Have extensive experience in boundary determination, topographic mapping, and marine surveys; ALTA surveys and title surveys; utility, route, and ROW surveys; subdivisions, precise construction layout and as-built surveys. Deal
Are licensed NY as a Land Surveyor with licensure
Have 6+ years of applicable land survey experience and be proficient with data processing and plan preparation in ACAD Civil 3D and Carlson Survey software. Has reviewed Point Cloud Data
Have previous supervisory experience of survey department staff both in the office and in the field.
Familiarity with different agency works SCA, NYCHA, DDC, DOT, NYCT
Open to use of new technology

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of survey department operations
Collaborate with firm management for business & departmental development
Contract & proposal review and estimate & bid preparation
Oversee all aspects of project management & technical staff
Research & development of all business and technical aspects of the department
Develop & maintain client relationships
Reconciling employee timesheets & project budgets
Charged with hiring of new department staff
Stamping and sealing documents
Overall QAQC
