Located in Belleville, Clara Maass Medical Center is a facility
of RWJBarnabas Health and provides a complete continuum of care to
residents of northern New Jersey. With over 700 physicians and
2,100 employees, we offer advanced treatment for a wide variety of
medical conditions. Our facility includes centers for advanced
wound care, sleep disorders, bariatrics, orthopedics cardiac
services, cancer care, emergency services, and more. In 2017, the
Medical Center completed a state-of-the-art campus expansion
featuring a new four-story 87,000 square foot building with a
private, 32-bed Intensive Care Unit, new Main Entrance and Lobby,
Retail Pharmacy, Patient Registration Area and newly expanded
Emergency Department. Clara Maass Medical Center has been
recognized nationally for its quality and patient safety by
Healthgrades and by the Leapfrog Group, having earned its twelfth
Grade A in 2019. The Medical Center has received Disease Specific
Care Certification from the Joint Commission for Acute Coronary
Syndrome (ACS), Congestive Heart Failure, Hip Replacement, Knee
Replacement, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Advanced Certification in
Palliative Care and is listed by the American Hospital Association
as one of Healthcare s Most Wired hospitals. In 2018, the Medical

Human Rights Campaign Foundation. We are currently looking for a
Nurse Manager, Oncology , This position provides 24 hour
accountability for patient care delivery on and directs nursing
care in accordance with established policies, procedures and
protocols of the healthcare organization. Major responsibilities
include but are not limited to You Will Be Responsible For: Directs
patient care in a manner which ensures that: Standards of patient
care and regulatory agencies are met; The nursing process forms the
basis for delivery of patient care; Patients, significant others
and associates are treated with dignity, respect and compassion.
Promotes staff effectiveness/competency through goal setting, role
modeling and provision of learning opportunities. Promotes quality
of patient care through the following: Develops/revises plan for
patient care delivery in assigned areas; Identifies and corrects
actual/potential problems; Recommends/selects appropriate
indicators to measure performance; Implements and enforces the
national patient safety goals; Communicates QA & PI findings as
required; Ensures the provision of Patient Family education.
Interviews, selects, promotes and terminates staff per established
hospital policies and Federal/State laws, in collaboration with
Administrative Directors & HR. Develops and implements policies and
procedures that guide and support the provision of services.
Determines the qualifications and competence of department
personnel who provide patient care services and who are not
licensed independent practitioners. Your Strengths Are: Employees

Thoughtfully interactY - You and Me Together Your Qualifications
Are: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
BSN or MA in health related field preferred. Current state
licensure as Registered Nurse (RN). Proof of Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) must
be presented upon hire. Minimum 3 years RN experience working in
Telemetry/Critical Care highly preferred. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills. Leadership and motivational skills.
Critical thinking, program development and project management
skills. Skilled in group facilitation and/or team building is a
must The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing needs, a
strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our team
