Description About the Position: TheBusiness Enablement Manager - US role will be part of the Business Enablementteam within End User & Collaboration Services, Global IS. Reporting into the Lead Business Enablement Manager(UK based). Work within the broader Business Changeremit to develop and deliver business change management tool sets intoProgrammes and Projects and BAU End User Services. Apply a structured methodology, definedwithin the Business Change team, and lead change management activities in theUS for End User IS products, projects and services. This may involve supporting US specificinitiatives, or working with UK based project and BAU teams to deliver theBusiness Enablement activities (communications, Business Change, readiness andtraining) for the US part of an IS initiative. There will be a need to work across multiple initiatives at any one time. Support and engage senior leaders in the USBusinesses via the IS Business Relationship Manager (BRM) / Customer ServiceManager (CSM) network. Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Supporting the design, development,delivery and management of communications. Conducting impact analysis, assess changereadiness and identify key stakeholders. Providing input, document requirements andsupport the design and delivery of training programs. Completing change management assessments Identifying, analysing and prepare riskmitigation tactics Identifying and managing anticipatedresistance Consulting and coaching project teams,managers and supervisors Creating actionable deliverables for thefive change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coachingplan, training plan, resistance management plan Supporting organisational design anddefinition of roles and responsibilities Integrating change management activitiesinto project plan Evaluating and ensure user readiness Managing stakeholders in line with agreedstakeholder plans Tracking and reporting issues to projectand program managers Defining and measuring success metrics andmonitor change progress Qualifications Knowledge & Experience Required: 10+ years in Business Change management Delivery of Business Change activities fortechnology related change in a multi-location organisation A solid understanding of how people gothrough a change and the change process Experience and knowledge of developing andapplying change management principles, methodologies and tools Exceptional communication skills, bothwritten and verbal Excellent active listening skills Ability to clearly articulate messages to avariety of audiences Gravitas with Senior Stakeholders -experience of managing C-level stakeholders Ability to establish and maintain strongrelationships Ability to influence others and move towarda common vision or goal Flexible and adaptable; able to work inambiguous situations Resilient and tenacious with a propensityto persevere Forward looking with a holistic approach Organized with a natural inclination forplanning strategy and tactics Problem solving and root causeidentification skills Able to work effectively at all levels inan organization Must be a team player and able to workcollaboratively with and through others Acute business acumen and understanding oforganizational issues and challenges Familiarity with project managementapproaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle Experience with large-scale organizationalchange efforts This position is one of National Grid's career path roles which provide for promotional opportunities within and across salary bands as you develop and evolve in the position by gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
