Location:Located among the high-rise blocks of the Upper East Side
of The City That Never Sleeps, a forgotten building that used to be
MOMA's art warehouse renovates itself to become an AIRE location
with over 9,600 square feet. The old walls breathe the creativity
from the thousands of pieces of art that once lived in its
interior, through which now flows absolute relaxation, thanks to
the baths at different temperatures and the six double massage
rooms. The historic construction is also a residential building,
making it the perfect opportunity to have relaxation at your
fingertips.The Role:As a Massage Therapist Supervisor you will
coordinate and oversee the Therapists team on shift, as well as
super the Therapist Manager in the daily operation to guarantee
smooth operations and customer experience to company standards.Key
Responsibilities:Daily Departmental DutiesSupervise and support a
team of 12-14 massage therapists per shift, ensuring smooth
operations and the consistent delivery of high-quality
services.Conduct pre-shift meetings 40 minutes before the first
service to align the team, share updates, and boost morale through
team activities or icebreakers.Plan and update therapist schedules
using the tablet system, review daily bookings, manage changes,
address absences, monitor banked hours and overtime, and verify the
previous days time clock records.Conduct daily walk-through's of
treatment rooms and departmental areas to ensure readiness, quality
control, and adherence to cleanliness standards.Ensure therapists
punctual arrival, address attendance issues, and enforce grooming
standards, documenting concerns in the tablet system.Oversee
scheduling, including service and room assignments, break
management, and time clock accuracy.Manage email communications to
address coverage needs and plan for the upcoming weeks bookings and
staffing requirements.Accurately record notes on the tablet for
proper documentation and communication.Prepare and deliver daily
shift handovers to ensure seamless information flow between
teams.Communicate effectively with all AIRE team members using
designated channels.Ensure Health and Safety protocols are
consistently met, promptly addressing and reporting any issues or
concerns.People ManagementConduct performance evaluations,
providing constructive feedback to support professional development
and maintain high service standards.Facilitate one-on-one sessions
to address conflict resolution and build rapport with team
members.Plan, organize, and lead daily team briefings to reinforce
objectives, share updates, and address concerns.Conduct on-boarding
training for new therapists, ensuring a smooth transition and full
understanding of company standards.Stock ManagementCarry out and
monitor inventory and storage organization on a weekly and monthly
basis.Manage orders following internal approval procedures and
coordinate deliveries to maintain product
availability.Miscellaneous DutiesAssist with recruitment processes,
including conducting practical evaluations for potential new
hires.Represent the department by attending management meetings in
the absence of the Therapist Manager.Perform massage services as
needed to support operations if licensed in NY.Mentor Licensed
Massage Therapist (LMT) graduates and sponsor candidates with
Limited Permits if licensed in NY.Who You Are:Must have held a
valid massage therapy license in any U.S. state; License may be
current or previously held, but proof of license is
required.Massage Therapist License in the state of New York,
preferred.Minimum of (2) years experience as a Licensed Massage
Therapist.Minimum of (2) years experience in a Leadership role
within a luxury spa or wellness center, required.Proven ability to
manage a team in a high volume, fast-paced environment.Familiarity
with spa booking software and payroll systems.Possess excellent
verbal and written communication skills, required.Proficient in
Microsoft Office 365, required.Maintain company standards of
luxury, glamour, warmth, energy, and accommodation.Night and
