qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 educational setting
in Hartford, CT, is seeking a skilled physical therapist to provide
compensatory services focused on gross motor skills for elementary
students. This full-time, contract role offers 35 hours per week
during the current school year (CSY) and involves working closely
with students who have limited mobility, including time in a
stander. Key Responsibilities: Deliver physical therapy services
aimed at improving gross motor skills for students with physical
challenges. Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop
and implement individualized plans that accommodate students
mobility needs. Provide compensatory strategies and interventions
to maximize students' functional abilities. Monitor student
progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly. Maintain accurate
documentation and communicate effectively with families and school
personnel. Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist with
experience in pediatric or school-based settings. Proficiency in
working with children who have limited mobility, including using
standers and other assistive equipment. Strong knowledge of gross
motor development and compensatory strategies. Ability to manage an
elementary caseload efficiently and compassionately. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate within a
