OFF-SITE LOCATIONS (CLARA MAASS, CHEMED, SOMERSET, BRUNSWICK HILLS)
Specialty: Maternal Fetal Medicine Coverage Dates Needed: Starting
in March, ongoing Please list any anticipated procedures/surgeries
the provider will be required to perform and anticipated volumes:
Ultrasound interpretation; fetal diagnostic procedures; preterm
labor, hypertensive disorders, diabetes and placental abnormalities
consultations; consult on medically complex deliveries including
call coverage onsite in L&D Description of Work Assignment: The
MFM locums physician will provide high-risk obstetrical care and
consultative services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
The role includes: Supervision and interpretation of perinatal
diagnostic studies (e.g., ultrasound, biophysical profiles, Doppler
studies) Prenatal consultations for complex maternal and fetal
conditions Inpatient consultations and co-management of high-risk
obstetric patients Participation in multidisciplinary care planning
(e.g., for maternal cardiac disease, fetal anomalies, etc.)
Supervision of sonographers and collaboration with Ob/Gyn
residents, fellows, and APPs The locums will be expected to cover
call which includes assisting onsite in L&D with medically
complex deliveries Breakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days
potentially 5 days/week covering ATU/call coverage Schedule of
Days/Times Needed to Work/ Shift Hours: 8am-5pm; call 5pm- 8am On
call? yes Patient Load 130-150 scans/day; 40 patients/day Board
Status Requirement (BC/BE) ABOG Certified Is there additional
support staff? Nurses, ultrasound techs, MSAs Is the provider
working solo or with other providers? If so, whom? Will be expected
to work with physician members of MFM, sonographers, genetic
counselors Are there Advanced Practice Providers? If yes, is the
locums provider responsible for them? Yes the division has an APN
but the locums would not be part of the collaborative agreement
with the APN Trauma Level of Work Location NA EMR System? Epic;
Viewpoint Is the Clinic EMR Different from the Hospital EMR? No
