Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare
facility in New Haven, CT, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to
support students within a school setting. This position involves
providing specialized therapy services to assist children in
overcoming physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges, enabling
them to thrive academically and socially. Key responsibilities
include: Conducting evaluations to assess students functional
abilities and needs. Developing and implementing individualized
therapy plans. Collaborating with educators, parents, and other
professionals to promote student progress. Monitoring and
documenting student progress and adjusting interventions as
necessary. Providing consultation and training to school staff
regarding occupational therapy strategies. Traveling to multiple
school sites as required. Desired experience and qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in pediatric or
school-based therapy. Knowledge of relevant therapy techniques and
educational practices. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to travel to various locations within the service area.
Capability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of
