Sterile Processing Tech Location: Bethpage, NY Agency: Lancesoft Inc. Pay: $1,500 per week Shift Information: Evenings - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, preparing, and distributing medical and surgical instruments and equipment. The SPT ensures all instruments are properly processed and tracked in accordance with infection control and hospital standards to support safe surgical and clinical operations. Requirements Requirements High School Diploma or GED Minimum 6 months – 1 year sterile processing experience (hospital preferred) CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or CBSPD certification required or in progress (depending on facility requirements) Knowledge of sterilization equipment, infection control, and instrument handling Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Benefits Medical & Health Insurance Benefits from first day for All Clinical and Patient-Facing Employees. 401K Plan.
