We are also parent company to NC Custom, the promotional arm of our business and home to the following industry-leading brands: Chocolate Inn/Taylor & Grant (edibles), Lanco (promotional hard goods), SPD Shoreline (apparel and soft goods), ACE (outdoor apparel and drinkware), and Fresh Beginnings (baked goods).We are currently looking for a dynamic Bilingual Factory Baker to join our growing team in Hicksville, NY!Essential Functions:Bake cookies, granolas, bars, breads, and other bakery goods.Supervise production bakery associates on the daily production schedule.Pull raw ingredients / products for the next day's bakes as per production schedule.Work with the Product Development department to create new baked goods recipes.Keep a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace.Complete production tasks in a timely mannerOperate various kitchen equipment safely and with proficiency.Perform opening duties and end of shift closing duties.Work with Quality Control to ensure all bakery items meet company standards.May perform other duties and participate in other projects as required.Minimum Requirements:Culinary Degree or similarFormal training in pastries, cookies, bars, breadsMinimum of 2 years of job experience in bakery or related job in a high production environmentHigh level baking skills and knowledge of baking chemistryProcess-oriented, can execute and introduce systemic processes.Dynamic multi-tasker; can prioritize, balance, and support multiple initiatives.Possesses an organized, detail-focused approach.Ability to problem solve.Self-motivated and results driven.Communicates effectively - both verbally (in English and Spanish) and writtenPhysical Demands/Working Conditions:May require standing for a large portion of the workday.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.This is an excellent career opportunity in a stable and rapidly growing Long Island company!We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
