Job Description:
At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are at the forefront of cloud
computing, providing robust IT infrastructure to a diverse
clientele. As a Data Center Operations Manager, you are tasked with
overseeing the operational health, security, and efficiency of our
data centers. You will lead a team responsible for the
installation, maintenance, and management of server hardware,
networking systems, and other infrastructure components. Your
leadership will ensure that our data centers operate at peak
efficiency, with maximum uptime and minimal operational costs.
Manage and oversee daily data center operations ensuring compliance
with all company policies and standards. Lead a team of IT
professionals in the installation, maintenance, and decommissioning
of hardware, alongside network diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Monitor data center performance to ensure efficiency and
reliability, implementing improvement plans as necessary. Design
and implement best practice IT operations protocols and contribute
to policy development. Coordinate with external vendors and
internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of IT resources and
support. Manage budgetary objectives while streamlining operations
to increase profitability and operational efficiency. Proven
expertise in data center management and operations. Strong
understanding of cloud computing services, particularly AWS
offerings. Expertise in network engineering and IT infrastructure
development. Exceptional leadership skills and ability to manage
cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving capabilities and
