Lockheed Martin, a leader in the Defense & Aerospace industry, is seeking an experienced AI Software & System Architect Lead to enhance our AI capabilities across various projects. Based in our IT & AI department, the successful candidate will utilize their expertise in AI and software architecture to innovate and design high-impact AI solutions that align with our mission of advancing technology for global security and aerospace projects. This role involves strategic planning, design, integration, and oversight of complex AI architectures within both existing and new systems, ensuring robustness, scalability, and alignment with ethical standards. Lead the design and implementation of advanced AI architectures integrating across multiple platforms and systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and project managers, to define project requirements and deliver innovative solutions. Oversee the integration of AI technologies with existing systems ensuring performance, security, and scalability. Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and industry trends to incorporate best practices and technologies. Ensure compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations in all AI solutions. Mentor junior architects and engineers, providing guidance and support to enhance team skills and cohesion. Expertise in AI algorithms, machine learning models, and neural networks Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar Experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch Strong understanding of system architecture and design patterns Proven ability to manage and lead technical teams Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure) Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
