Job Description Job Description Weber Gallagher has an immediate
opening for an Associate for our Medical Malpractice group. The
candidate will work a hybrid schedule from Bedminster, NJ. The
ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and research
abilities, and prior exposure to litigation work. Responsibilities:
Support the defense of complex medical malpractice cases from
inception through trial and appeal. Conduct case evaluations,
develop litigation strategy, and advise clients on risk assessment
and potential exposure. Draft and argue dispositive motions,
prepare trial briefs, oversee discovery, including expert witness
preparation. Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations,
depositions, hearings and trials. Build and maintain strong client
relationships. Stay current on changes in healthcare law. Ability
to travel for court, client meetings, etc. Ability to work a hybrid
schedule from the Bedminster, NJ office. Requirements: 2-5 years of
defense litigation experience, preferably in Medical Malpractice
and/or General Liability. J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active and good standing NJ bar license; required. Exceptional
legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent
communication skills. Expertise in defense litigation. Experience
reviewing complex medical records, expert testimony, and scientific
evidence. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and
deadlines simultaneously. Prior experience representing hospitals,
physicians, insurance companies or healthcare systems, preferred.
Salary is dependent on a variety of factors including education,
experience and internal equity. Our good faith starting salary for
the associate position is: $100,000. Weber Gallagher is a thriving
