The Securitas Technology Operations Supervisor plans work and supervises a team of prefabrication technicians within a light manufacturing environment. The prefabrication team assembles electrical and electronic components and materials into prefabricated assemblies for ease of installation by technicians in client facilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide supervision, motivation, and training to electronic prefabrication technicians in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. - Develop operations plans and resource planning to optimize work and meet production deadlines. - Maintain tool and inventory levels by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing orders for supplies. - Implement departmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives. - Implement and maintain quality control standards and procedures. - Coordinate with engineers and project managers on project deliverables. - Evaluate performance of assigned employees, delivering appropriate and timely feedback. - Evaluate and report on department metrics. - Develop and implement strategies to improve the work environment and operations. - Maintain storage and organization of raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse. Required Qualifications - A high school diploma or GED Desired Qualifications - A bachelor’s or associate degree in operations management, business management, or engineering technology - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. - Experience wiring and troubleshooting industrial controls and PLC equipment. - Good working knowledge of operational procedures and policies. - Strong project management, administrative management, and organizational skills. - Excellent leadership and decision-making skills. - Great communication and interpersonal skills.
