Job Functions, Duties, Responsibilities and Position Qualifications:

Competitive Pay / Remote Work

Full Time

Monday to Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm

Onsite Location for Training: Hicksville, NY

In this role you will:

  • Speak to client's and patient's regarding billing, questions, and concerns

  • Verify both commercial and government insurances

  • Understand government insurances and commercial insurances

  • Navigate insurance websites reading EOB'S and answers customer insurance questions

  • Demonstrate excellent research, problem solving and follow up skills

  • Troubleshoot and resolve ongoing problems

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills both with internal and external clients

  • Handle stressful situations and maintain professionalism and composure

  • Complete special projects as needed

  • Assist team members with various billing tasks as needed

All you need is:

  • HS Diploma

  • Medical Billing Certification

  • Previous call center experience, preferred

  • Medical Billing Insurance experience, preferred

  • Knowledge of ICD 9 & 10 codes and CPT coding guidelines

  • To be detail oriented and able to multi-task

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
