Full Time - Day Shift *Sign On Bonus Eligible* In this role you will:

• Ensure specimen integrity by adhering to the laboratory's procedure for specimen handling and processing
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures to include departmental programs, quality control, quality assurance, and safety
• Embed and Microtomy of pathology samples
• Perform staining techniques (H&E and Specials)
• Archive specimen blocks and slides
• Perform any additional task that is deemed necessary by the Department
• Set up specimens and their paperwork for grossing
• Maintain the tissue processor, embedding centers, microtomes, stainers and coverslippers All you need is:
  • ?New York State License (Medical Technologist, Medical Lab Technician or Histotechnologist)
  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or related degree, preferred
