JOB SUMMARY
Ensures all exception handling for ACH and Inclearing items are performed timely and accurately. May provide guidance, training and technical expertise to staff members. Performs follow up regarding incorrectly processed items. Responds to inquiries from branches, customers and the Exception Processing Management team regarding ACH and Inclearing items.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• 
  
• Handles exceptions on ACH credits/debits on saving and checking accounts for Invalid accounts, Stop payments, Stop suspects, NSF/UCF, Supervisor holds, High dollar checks, Daily proof.
  
• Handles exceptions on Inclearing checks for checking accounts for Invalid checks, Stop payment checks, Stop suspects checks, NSF/UCF checks, Supervisor holds, High dollar checks, Daily proof and review of reports at the end of the day.
  
• Handles trace requests from Government and other ACH departments.
  
• Ensures that exception handling is completed for the group in a timely and accurate manner.
  
• Coordinate and assist in the completion of daily proofs.
  
• Make recommendations to the Exception Processing Management team for the development of workflow efficiencies.
  
• Assist in the documentation of the required introduction of new procedures/policies.
