Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 PM EST
Location: 2800 Marcus Ave Suite 102, Lake Success, NY 11042
Primary Responsibilities:

• Schedule appointments for new or established patients
  
• Answers incoming phone calls in a courteous and prompt manner; directs calls and takes messages
  
• Enters and scans patient's demographic and insurance information into Epic
  
• Verifies insurance eligibility and benefit information; informs patients of insurance benefits
  
• Greets patients, family members and guests with a friendly smile
  
• Assists patients with signing in and completing registration
  
• Enters and scans patient's demographic and insurance information into Epic
  
• Assists with other tasks as assigned

  High School Diploma/GED (or higher)--
  1+ year of customer service experience with solid computer skills--
  Preferred Qualifications:
  

  Associates Degree (or higher) OR some college coursework completed--
  Epic experience
  Medical office experience
  Knowledge of insurance carriers and managed care plans

  New York City Residents Only: The hourly range for New York City residents is $16.00 to $27.31.
