Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Building Superintendent with 10+ years of experience managing multi-family high-rise properties. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Super License and have a strong background in building operations, preventative maintenance, tenant relations, and NJ code compliance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations of a high-rise residential building Perform and coordinate repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.) Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance Manage and supervise porters, maintenance, and contracted vendors Respond promptly to emergencies and after-hours calls Maintain inventory of supplies and order parts/materials as needed Foster positive tenant relationships and handle maintenance requests professionally Keep accurate records of work orders, inspections, and regulatory filings Qualifications: 10+ years of experience as a Building Superintendent in multi-family high-rise buildings Valid NJ Superintendent License Strong knowledge of building systems, code compliance, and safety procedures Experience with building management software (preferred) Ability to lift, climb, and perform physical tasks as needed Excellent organizational and communication skill Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Health benefits package Paid time off and holidays Long-term growth opportunities with a reputable property management company Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
