Job Summary The successful Damage Prevention Analyst will be responsible for creating, preparing and maintaining monthly reports, graphs and presentations associated with a variety of databases including ITIC Ticket Management System, SAP, DIRT, DTS damage tracking, and other performance and statistical data. Job Responsibilities - Additional responsibilities include organization & oversight of Damage Prevention Unit (DPU) records that are required by the group. - Daily correspondence and interaction with excavators and/or contractors as well as internal work forces will also be part of this job. - The position will involve attending & facilitating various training programs involving Damage Prevention Outreach Programs. - Monthly report/chart updates and other associated graphs pertaining performance metrics and scorecard progress - Processing subcontractor monthly/weekly invoices and any day to day or special projects such documentation of unit processes and procedures that the Damage Prevention Team may be tasked with or are required to do - Identify, research and develop DPU procedures and processes - Prepare and present charts and graphs as necessaryAssist with day to day issues associated with Locate and Markout Company & various other subcontractors and excavatorsPrepare DPU procedures, processes, charts, graphs etc. using Company Microsoft Office Immigration Support will not be provided in association with this position now or in the future. This is a multi-level growth series position, the title, grade level and incentive target assigned to the successful candidate will be determined by assessing skills and related experience, learned through the interview process. This position has a career path which provides for promotional opportunities within and across grades as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. If an internal candidate is selected they will move laterally at their current grade level and will not be eligible for a promotion at the time of accepting this position. This applies to candidates moving within the same career path (e.g., analyst, supervisor, engineer), or to a different career path (e.g., analyst to engineer, supervisor to analyst). The selected candidate will have an opportunity to be promoted within the career path during an annual review. Job Specific Qualifications Required Education, Skills, Knowledge: Note: This is a multi-level career path (Grade Level 24/25/26/). The title, grade level and incentive target assigned to the successful candidate will be determined by confirming education degree earned, assessing skills and related knowledge/experience as indicated below. Associate Damage Prevention Analyst: (Grade Level 24) - Associates Degree OR 2-4 years equivalent work experience that provides a foundation to the fundamental responsibilities and accountabilities associated with the position and in performing structured work assignments. - 1-2 years experience and knowledge in the damage prevention industry, theories, principles, practices and concepts as related to electric will also be a consideration. - Employee will receive instruction, guidance and direction from Supervisor. - Microsoft Office skills as well as SAP familiarity Intermediate Damage Prevention Analyst: (Grade Level 25) - Bachelors Degree and at least 2-4 years Electric Operations/Construction related experience and some work experience in the utility industry. - Basic knowledge of the utility business processes and some experience or knowledge in electric distribution and transmission systems, knowledge of Code Rule 753 and how the locate and markout process works, - 2-4 years experience in contracts, claims processing, finance, legal and engineering will all prove to be useful in this position and will be considered for this Analyst level position - Individual must display good problem solving skills and the ability to identify and flag issues requiring Supervisor assist. - Microsoft Office skills as well as SAP familiarity. - Knowledge of ITIC Ticket Management System, DIRT, DTS, and One Call Concepts Performance Data Senior Damage Prevention Analyst: (Grade Level 26) - Senior Analyst will require a college Bachelors Degree and at least 5 years work experience in the Utility Industry (experience in areas such as Damage Prevention, Engineering, Finance, Claims or Construction) will all be considered. - Knowledge of the utility business processes and various departments; experience or knowledge in electric distribution and transmission systems, a fundamental knowledge of Code Rule 753 and how the locate and markout process works. - Experience in contracts, claims processing, finance, legal and engineering. - Microsoft Office skills as well as SAP familiarity - Experience in ITIC Ticket Management System, DIRT, DTS, and One Call Concepts Performance Data Certifications None Noted Disclaimer Certain positions at the Company may require you to have access to Part 810-Controlled Information.
