Position: Front Desk Sales Associate Location: Woodbury, Long Island Type: Part-Time (Approximately 20 hours per week) Preferred Candidates: Graduate students and individuals with bachelor's degrees in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, and Athletic Training, Fitness/Wellness Sales Experience Note: We are not considering candidates seeking temporary or summer positions. Position Overview: The Front Desk Sales Associate serves as the initial point of contact for prospective clients, guests, and members, providing them with information about the benefits of our one-on-one assisted stretching program. This role involves actively listening to clients' wellness goals and needs, and conveying how our assisted stretch program can enhance their mobility, alleviate tension and pain, and promote performance and recovery. The Front Desk Sales Associate will collaborate with the Sales Manager to welcome visitors, schedule sessions, and drive membership sales by introducing new members to our studio. Additionally, they will assist in retaining existing members. While experience in retail, fitness, or wellness is preferred, it is not a requirement. Requirements: Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to achieve membership and retail sales targets Proficiency with learning and using Club Ready software Comfort standing or sitting for up to 8 hours Excellent communication skills in English, both in person, over the phone, and via email Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Proficient computer skills Willingness to engage in occasional travel Responsibilities: Assist the Sales Manager in lead generation, follow-up, and closing of sales Schedule and confirm introductory sessions Manage the front desk, welcoming clients and prospects, and checking them in Conduct studio tours, establish relationships, and address individual needs Maintain satisfactory personal sales performance Reinforce the studio's wellness objectives Present available services to current and prospective members Schedule quality appointments to meet monthly sales targets Participate in promotional events to support the studio's outreach Maintain studio cleanliness and organization Fulfill other assigned duties Compensation & Perks: Competitive compensation based on experience Access to discounted memberships and stretching opportunities Commission on new membership and retail sales Potential for growth within the studio, including becoming a Certified Flexologist or exploring additional sales and management roles Application: Serious applicants are requested to submit a cover letter along with their application.
