ciltacabtagene autolecuel (cilta-cel). Our strategic partnership is
designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies
to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of
multiple myeloma. Legend Biotech is seeking a Medical Affairs Co-Op
as part of the Medical Affairs team based in Somerset, NJ . Role
Overview The Medical Affairs Co-Op will support and execute key
initiatives that advance the organization’s scientific, clinical,
and strategic objectives with a primary focus on real world
evidence generation. This opportunity provides hands-on experience
across the medical affairs spectrum, working collaboratively with
cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of
scientific integrity and medical excellence. Co-Op Duration: 12
months Key Responsibilities Support and operationalize real-world
evidence (RWE) generation planning and activities. Participate in
key opinion leader (KOL) engagements to understand evidence needs
and data gaps. Assist in medical content and resource development.
Contribute to publication planning process. Support medical
information functions, ensuring compliance with medical and
regulatory standards. Ability to travel ~25%. Requirements
Post-graduate PharmD, MD, DO, or PhD in a biosciences field. Strong
foundation in clinical research, pharmacology, biomedical science,
or related disciplines. Excellent written and verbal communication
skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific information
clearly and accurately. Strong analytical and critical-thinking
skills; ability to interpret scientific data and clinical evidence.
High level of professionalism, collaborative mindset, and
scientific rigor. Ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with common computer-based tools and platforms.
Curiosity and a proactive learning mindset. Strong attention to
detail and commitment to quality. Excellent interpersonal skills
and ease in engaging with external and internal stakeholders.
Skills You’ll Gain Medical Strategy & Evidence Generation: Ability
to support medical strategy development and contribute to RWE study
design and evidence generation. KOL Engagement & Insight Gathering:
Skills in identifying and engaging key opinion leaders and
synthesizing external clinical insights. Cross-Functional
Collaboration & Project Management: Experience working with
clinical, regulatory, safety, and commercial teams; ability to
manage timelines, workflows, and complex medical affairs projects.
