Job Description Job Description BronxWorks helps individuals and
families improve their economic and social well-being. From
toddlers to seniors, we feed, shelter, teach, and support our

temporarily while they work toward long-term stability. Program
staff provide compassionate support, life-enhancing services, and
community-based resources to help empower each family. Together, we
guide families on their journey back to independence and into
permanent housing. RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee all program components,
including staff orientation, training and development: client
assessment, service plan development and progress: relationships
with other community-based organizations; and components specific
to the site and population Ensure all departments meet contractual
goals and reporting requirements Monitor program progress and
submit all required reports to funding sources, including
government and private sources Submit internal progress report to
Residence Director and/or Executive Director on a monthly basis.
Prepare proposals for development, expansion and continuation of
programs in coordination with Residence Director Hold monthly
individual supervision meetings with staff and group meetings as
necessary Monitor staff performance, including performing case
reviews and structured observations Participate in, and encourage
staff to become involved in agency events Oversee all parts of
social services (case management, client navigator, social workers,
and recreation) ensuring uniform quality of services and compliance
with regulatory agencies. Intervene in major crisis with clients,
staff and agencies, ensuring well-being and compliance with laws
and government regulations. Implement goals for relocating the
maximum number of homeless migrant families to appropriate
permanent housing. Prepare social services statistics and reports
for performance analysis and program planning. Formulate and
implement social services policies and procedures. Perform
additional duties as assigned by Residence Director QUALIFICATIONS
LMSW (Master of Social Work Licensure) Minimum of two years
supervisory experience Proficiency in modern business
communications including personal computers, electronic mail,
voicemail, facsimile, and copier equipment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Strong writing
and oral communication skills Strong presentation skills and
ability to represent the agency at functions and meetings Ability
to collect and analyze client demographics and outcome Excellent
organizational, teambuilding and leadership skills Ability to use a
computer for prolonged periods Ability to occasionally lift and/or
move up to 10 pounds Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long
periods of time Ability to climb five flights of stairs, if
required to conduct home visits and/or fieldwork Ability to bend
and retrieve objects and/or documents Ability to travel in the
boroughs of New York City and its adjacent counties via public
transportation Ability to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a
reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including
inclement weather, if required to conduct home visits and/or field
